Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage our busbar inventory operations. This role is essential to ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and movement of busbar components—including copper and aluminum bars. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management and a strong understanding of the technical specifications and handling requirements of busbar.

This position is located in Houston, TX 77011 (East Downtown).

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, preferably in electrical or industrial manufacturing

- Familiarity with busbar and material handling protocols

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and efficiently

- Ability to operate a forklift, specifically lifting and moving bars (busbar handling preferred)

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be punctual and reliable

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

- Maintain accurate inventory records for busbar components

- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies for copper and aluminum busbars

- Coordinate receiving, labeling, and storage of incoming busbar materials for the manufacturing division

- Ensure proper handling and storage to prevent damage, oxidation, or contamination of conductive materials

- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels

- Track lot numbers, material certifications, and compliance documentation for regulated components

- Generate inventory reports and provide insights to support production planning and procurement

- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline inventory processes and reduce waste

Minimum 2 years of Inventory control experience

Shift: Days - Monday-Friday 5:00am-5:00pm, including weekends as needed

Compensation: Depending on experience

Night shift premium - $2 additional per hour (5pm-5am)
