Inventory & Parts Coordinator

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Proulx Oil & Propane is looking for an organized and dependable Inventory & Parts Coordinator to help keep our service department running smoothly. In this role, you’ll manage inventory, coordinate materials for technicians, and help ensure our warehouse and parts systems stay organized and efficient.

This warehouse / inventory coordination role supports our service technicians by making sure the right materials, parts, and equipment are available for scheduled installations and service work.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick and stage parts and materials for technician jobs from warehouse inventory

- Prepare purchase orders for materials not currently in stock and coordinate supplier deliveries

- Verify purchase orders and incoming shipments, resolving discrepancies when necessary

- Receive, label, and stock inventory in warehouse and stockroom areas

- Maintain organized inventory storage and appropriate stock levels

- Track warranty parts and returned materials and coordinate credits with suppliers

- Operate forklifts and other equipment to receive, move, and stock materials

- Work closely with technicians and the Service Manager to ensure materials are ready for scheduled jobs

- Maintain inventory records using spreadsheets and office systems

- Assist with inventory reporting and participate in annual inventory counts

Preferred Experience

- High school diploma or GED

- 2+ years experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, parts management, purchasing, or shipping/receiving

- HVAC, propane, plumbing, or mechanical service industry experience is a plus

- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities

- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

This role combines warehouse work and office coordination, so candidates should be comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and in an office environment supporting technicians and service staff.

Warehouse tasks may include stocking materials, receiving deliveries, organizing parts inventory, and operating equipment such as forklifts.
