We are seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our dynamic team and support our mission of being an industry leader in the drilling products sector.

Job Summary: The Sales Associate will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries, supporting the Outside sales team, and ensuring accurate and timely quotes for current and potential clients. This role involves communication with clients, sales, engineering, and operations to alleviate potential order problems and provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

- Communicate professionally and respond to all inquiries promptly via phone, email or customer preferred electronic messaging.

- Support the development of client accounts by reviewing buying histories, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.

- Generate accurate and timely quotes, communicate expected delivery dates, and address client concerns.

- Stay updated on new product descriptions and participate in educational opportunities.

- Assist in obtaining department and organizational goals by participating in goal setting, personal involvement and individual effort.

Functional Capabilities:

- Quotation Management: Ability to generate accurate quotes based on client inquiries and internal guidelines.

- Communication Skills: Proficiency in professional communication, both verbal and written.

- Client Relationship Management: Skills in developing and maintaining client accounts and suggesting relevant products with importance placed on delivering top-tier service to clients/customers.

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of product features and specifications to address client concerns.

- Process Improvement: Capability to follow standards and recommend improvements.

- Adaptability: Willingness and ability to learn new industries and ERP systems.

- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain professionalism.

- Time Management: Efficiently handle multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

- Positive Attitude: Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace change.

Knowledge Requirements:

- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).

- Organizational skills: The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines while emphasizing attention to detail.

- Knowledge of drilling products, the drilling industry or manufacturing a plus.

- Comfortable with and eager to learn new technologies.

· Ability To read engineering design prints and specifications

- Proficiency in E2 manufacturing software a plus

- Proficiency in CRM software and daily maintenance

- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required or demonstrable experience acceptable.

- 3+ years of work experience in quoting/estimating or relevant experience preferred.

- Drilling industry experience highly valued.

- Strong communicator in both verbal and written communications. Bi-lingual would be a benefit

- Ability to contribute to a team environment and maintain a professional environment with internal and external customers.
