Industrial Cleaning Technician

The Industrial Cleaning Technician will work to ensure facilities, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition and will be responsible for general cleaning and maintenance duties.

This position is located in Salisbury, NC.

Monday-Friday

7:00am-4:00pm EST

Essential Functions

· Clean associated equipment in accordance with company policies.

· Maintain facilities and designated areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.

· Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, power washing, trash collection, and proper waste sorting.

· Follow day to day instructions and work assignments.

· Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude to safely handle equipment and tools.

· Execute comprehensive cleaning routines in manufacturing areas, production lines, and warehouse spaces.

· Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and sanitation tools to remove debris and contaminants efficiently.

· Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving cleaning supplies, equipment, and waste materials.

· Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, safety inspections, and sanitation logs.

· Collaborate with team members to identify areas needing additional attention or specialized cleaning methods.

· Follow strict safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Role Requirements

· 5S experience STRONGLY preferred.

· Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

· Proven experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial roles within manufacturing or warehouse settings.

· Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.

· Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and vacuum systems.

· Exceptional attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.

· Strong physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

· Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors on cleaning priorities.

· Forklift operation experience preferred.

· Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including high heat, extreme cold, and environments without air conditioning.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
