Industrial Maintenance Technician

North Houston Intercontinental Airport area.

MUST be available for either Day or Night Shift.

Required experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance on manual lathes, overhead cranes and automated equipment.

The functions listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

· Perform preventive maintenance on facility machinery and equipment

· Troubleshoot and repair facility machinery and equipment

· Inspect, evaluate, and inventory all lifting straps, harnesses, ratcheting straps for delivery vehicles, etc.

· Identify tools and consumables used in the general and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment

· Log and maintain records of equipment maintenance and repair

· Perform lock out/tag out procedures on equipment

· Help in other departments as needed

Job Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent, technical training a plus.

· Experience trouble shooting equipment issues and failures.

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience using pneumatic tools, power tools, and hand held tools. Required.

· Experience operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment.

· Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions, procedures, and equipment manuals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
