Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the position:

Roll-Kraft is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to be a part of our team. We are best in class in our industry, with a training program second to none. Whether you have a solid base or are a veteran, we have the training platform to get you up to speed quickly. Tools are provided as needed.

Position Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.

- Works in a team environment and assumes a team role while being engaged in departmental problem solving.

- Learns to process and complete all assigned maintenance Help Desk requests for the respective departments in a timely manner and according to training provided.

- Uses tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments including any other shop tools and equipment

- Light welding and fabrication for general maintenance repairs & projects

- Performs Preventive Maintenance tasks on all plant equipment and systems

- Supports and helps drive all of the companies Lean Manufacturing goals.

- Follows all safety guidelines and promotes safety in the work areas.

- Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Valid drivers’ license required.

- Travel up to 25%.

Knowledge and Experience

- Ability to understand product quality requirements, basic schematics and diagrams

- Ability to plan, prioritize and manage daily activities (self-motivated and self–directed).

- Must be able to work independently in a multi-tasking environment

- Forklift driving authorization required (supplied by the company) within 30 days of acquiring position.

- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment with the ability to be flexible and supportive to meet changing work demands.

- Understand, comprehend and complies with the Lock Out Tag Out procedures with all equipment

- Strong communication skills

- Safe use of various equipment (drills, saws, hand tools, electronics, and welder torch) and variety of maintenance equipment.

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
