The
Talent Acquisition Coordinatorsupports full cycle hiring operations with a strong focus on candidate pre-screening, onboarding, pre-employment processes, and employee record management. This role partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR leadership to ensure a compliant, efficient, and positive transition from candidate to employee. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in onboarding, background checks, and HR operations, along with a strong understanding of recruiting workflows. This position can think outside the box, create efficiencies, is passionate about the employee experience in a fast-growing environment and supports the team on various project initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition Support
- Conduct initial candidate pre-screening calls to assess qualifications, experience, and role fit
- Partner with recruiters to support hiring operations across multiple roles and locations
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication as needed
- Manage and track offer, background check, and pre-employment workflows
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate data in the ATS
- Support agency coordination and external vendor relationships
- Own end-to-end onboarding coordination for new hires
- Coordinate and monitor background checks, drug screens, and other pre-employment testing
- Proactively follow up on screening results to ensure start-date readiness
- Create, maintain, and audit new-hire information (digital) to ensure complete, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Maintain employee records in HRIS and ensure data accuracy
- Support new-hire orientation and onboarding logistics
- Partner with Payroll & Benefits and other teams as needed
- Contribute to broader HR projects and support team initiatives as needed.
- Ensure hiring and onboarding processes align with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and hiring workflows
- Track and report on onboarding and recruiting metrics
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition coordination, onboarding or HR operations
- Strong knowledge of pre-employment screening and background check processes
- Proven experience managing employee documentation and compliance records
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with ATS and HRIS systems (ideally Dayforce)
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Experience supporting multi-location or high-volume hiring
- Strong process-improvement mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Cross-functional exposure to Talent Acquisition and HR Operations
