The Executive Assistant is responsible for performing confidential secretarial and administrative duties involving the exercise of independent judgment, for the Senior Vice President, directors and other office personnel.
- Coordinate and organize the Senior Vice President’s activities within the company, the community and professional organizations.
- Perform other day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, travel arrangements, schedule coordination, preparation of presentations, expense accounts and personnel paperwork, typing, filing and paying departmental bills.
- Coordinate activities related to salary and personnel changes and performance appraisal interviews.
- Handle internal and external correspondence, distribute mail, make meeting and travel arrangements, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Perform duties of TRIS administrator for applicable department.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 5 or more years of high level administrative experience required.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proficiency in keyboarding and software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as TRIS and PeopleSoft, required. Ability to interact effectively with senior management required. Ability to work independently in a confidential manner and take a leadership role in various projects and activities also required.

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
