Responsibilities

- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and client requirements to develop precise cost estimates for metals fabrication projects.

- Collaborate with management to review project scope and provide pricing strategies that align with company goals and customer expectations.

- Incorporate supply chain management principles to source materials efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while controlling costs.

- Apply lean manufacturing techniques to optimize production planning, reduce waste, and improve overall project efficiency.

- Conduct demand planning and forecasting activities to anticipate material needs and streamline inventory control processes.

- Work closely with production teams to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities, Job Planning, and inventory management systems.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in metals fabrication estimating or a related manufacturing field.

- Familiarity with supply chain management concepts including demand planning, inventory control, and procurement strategies.

- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and production planning methodologies.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents accurately.

- Excellent analytical skills combined with strong communication abilities to present clear estimates and collaborate effectively across departments.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
