Unique Metal Fabrication, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented person to fill a position in our estimating department. As an estimator you will play a crucial role in preparing structural and miscellaneous estimates while analyzing the project design documents and specifications. If you have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, we would like to hear from you.

· Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other contract documents to prepare accurate estimates

· Collaborate with General Contractors and Design teams to understand project requirements and constraints

· Utilize Estimating and Project Management software such as Fabsuite and BlueBeam

· Develop Project Schedules and timelines to ensure completion of projects

· Review and evaluate subcontracts

· Maintain relationships with clients

· Ability to read and interpret contract documents (Specification, Blueprints, Etc.)

· Proficiency in Outlook 360, Fabsuite, Bluebeam, Excel, and ability to learn new software

· Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills

· Solid Understanding of Construction principles and methods

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

· 3-5 Years of related estimating experience in the construction industry

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Science, or related field of study preferred

· Experience in commercial construction industry

· Experience working with structural steel and/or miscellaneous metals
