ERP Analyst

ERP ANALYST - Englewood, Colorado | Full-Time, In-Office | $80,000 – $120,000

Mears Group is hiring an ERP Analyst to support, maintain, and help optimize our Spectrum ERP environment. This is a junior-to-mid-level role ideal for someone who has solid SQL skills, understands core ERP business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, job costing), and wants to grow into deeper system expertise within a construction and infrastructure company. You’ll work closely with IT and business teams to troubleshoot issues, maintain data accuracy, build reports, and support integrations. Prior Spectrum experience is a plus but not required—we’ll invest in getting you up to speed on our platform.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

- Troubleshoot ERP application, data, and integration issues through root-cause analysis

- Maintain ERP data accuracy through regular monitoring, validation, and updates

- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into ERP configurations or process improvements

- Support ERP workflows and integrations across departments (finance, operations, project management)

- Participate in system testing and quality assurance for updates, patches, and new functionality

- Document processes, system configurations, data mappings, and integration workflows

- Generate reports and perform data analysis to support business decision-making

- Provide end-user support and training on ERP functionality

- All other duties assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

- 2–4 years of experience working with or supporting an ERP system in a business environment

- Strong SQL skills — comfortable writing queries, working with stored procedures, views, and data transformations in SSMS

- Understanding of core ERP business processes: order-to-cash, accounts payable/receivable, procurement, or job costing

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to do root-cause analysis

- Clear communication skills — you can explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred:

- Experience with Spectrum ERP or other construction/project-based ERP platforms

- Familiarity with SSIS for data integration and ETL processes

- Exposure to APIs and integration concepts (REST, webhooks)

- PowerShell scripting experience

- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent experience accepted)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

- The physical activity and work environment required for this role includes:

- Sitting, standing, walking for extended periods in an office environment

- Occasionally stooping, climbing, bending and reaching

- Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment

- Occasionally lifting office equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
