Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring team members follow procedures and understand the SOP’s objectives and other inter-related activities. .
Ideal Candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
· Renew or modify all permits as need by preparing and submitting applications and working with regulatory agency to obtain final permit
· Act as point of contact for ADEQ and LRWRA inspectors
· Coordinate discharge of water form towers and pits when they are cleaned and arrange for proper disposal of waste generated
· Write reports on results of inspections and investigations and forward to the HOD HSE.
· Perform a variety of safety training weekly and as needed
- Equipment Safety Training (weekly)
- Safety Orientations for all Contractors (as needed)
· Submit, track and administer workers compensation claims
· Inspect the plant processes and procedures to ensure good health and safety practice.
· Perform incident investigations and root cause analyses
· Review, update and monitor all HSE Policies, Programs, and Procedures.
· Investigate procedures for working in hazardous environments or with potentially harmful substances to insure safety standards are met.
· Provide advice and information on health and safety to managers and supervisors on changes required to meet the OSHA standards and Welspun safety goals.
· Write reports on results of inspections and investigations and forward to the HOD HSE.
Education: BS/BA degree or university program certificate; or two-four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. HSE experience helpful.
