As we begin our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) journey, we are focused on strengthening our environmental and sustainability practices while meeting the evolving expectations of our customers and partners. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental & LMS Coordinator who will work closely with the EHSQ team to support ESG initiatives, contribute to the development and implementation of our ESG framework, assist with customer pre-qualification platforms, and provide training administration support, including Learning Management System (LMS) coordination.
- Establish internal systems to collect, organize, and maintain ESG data across environmental, social, and governance areas.
- Lead the creation and implementation of internal ESG and sustainability policies, statements, procedures, and reports.
- Help put into place and track ESG performance indicators and contribute to reporting and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather data for ESG submissions, audits, and document updates.
- Oversee customer and stakeholder submissions, including pre-qualification platforms (e.g., EcoVadis, Avetta, ISN, Cognibox), and work with the Director and EHSQ teams to improve procedures and performance scores.
- Partner with the Marketing and Communications team to create and review ESG-related content, ensuring all sustainability claims are free from greenwashing.
- Provide coordination support for meetings, audits, and follow-up actions related to ESG and supplier compliance.
- Maintain organized records and documents.
- Provide support to the LMS Administrator, including system coordination user management, records and reporting.
- Manage attendance lists for internal trainers, including the EHSQ team.
- Prepare and maintain learner lists for EHSQ onboarding and safety orientation training.
- Manage requests for system access, including the creation of new user accounts.
- Monitor and manage training notifications originating from Dayforce, including training profile assignments.
- Coordinate and support in-class training sessions, including facilitating classroom-based sessions where e-learning modules are projected for learners.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- You have 2+ years of experience in ESG, sustainability within an industrial company- You have experience with customer pre-qualification platforms (e.g., Ecovadis, Avetta, ISN, Cognibox, etc) is beneficial
- You have experience supporting or administering a Learning Management System (LMS); experience with HRIS platforms such as Dayforce is an asset.
- Strong organizational and data management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Good understanding of sustainability communications and an awareness of greenwashing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience working with data, reports, and dashboards.
