Dispatcher

This position is located in person in Willmar, MN.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position directs drivers on which terminals to load products that meet our customer’s expectations. The job requires the person to be able to make adjustments throughout the day based on changes to commodity markets, customers needs and hauling capacity. This job requires working rotating nights and weekends.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Scheduling drivers to deliver the correct products & quantities to our customers that meet their expectations for lowest price combination and delivery timing

· Communicate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers

· Act as a communication liaison between the customer and the driver

· Monitor any sudden route changes, road conditions or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries

· Use Samsara to track drivers and dispatch effectively.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 1 year of experience in a related field

· Strong organizational skills and excellent follow-through

· Strong attention to detail and time management skills

· Timeliness and promptness with scheduling and dispatching.

· Ability to think quickly and make necessary changes to routes and schedules.

· Ability to work weekend hours when needed

· Show initiative to continue learning and develop skills.

· Uphold Dooley’s Petroleum Inc.’s policies and procedures to meet company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·1 year of dispatching experience required

· Prior use of Samsara e-log software preferred

PHYSICAL REQUITREMENTS:

· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
