Job Description & Duties

Sutter Metals, LLC, located at 5312 S Burlington Way Tacoma, is currently hiring for the position of Dispatch Operator. This position is a fast paced and full-time with hours generally consisting of 8am – 5pm. The shifts generally consist of working with driver staff and customers to dispatch drivers to customer’s locations, using electronic systems to send jobs and track driver performance, cash handling, and answering a multi-line phone system.

Compensation is $22-26 per hour DOE.

General Duties:

- Driver Dispatch- Use Spireon and Greenspark system for time and driver management – training provided. Communicate with both driver and customer.

- Customer Service- Via phone(multi-line), email and in person. Interpret pricing and grading processes for materials. Suggest services based on customer need (small-large projects, bin or flatbed service). Quote junk vehicle removal based on current rates and distance.

- Cash Drawer- Use Point of Sale for transactions involving exchange of both cash and check.

Skills Required:

Multi Phone line system

Computer software experience (Word, Excel, email, QuickBooks experience helpful but not a requirement)

Dispatch experience 1 year
