We are looking for a qualified candidate to temporarily fill the role of Customer Service Support for a period of 6 months.
Customer Service Support willprovide administrative and operational support to the Customer Service Account Coordinators by working closely with them to assist in order entry, paperwork organization, tracking orders to meet delivery dates, samples updating, file updates and other such tasks to ensure that customer needs are clearly communicated and solutions are coordinated to meet service expectations. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively, professionally and positively with team members are essential to success in this position.
This temporary role will provide support to the Account Coordinators and will report directly to the Director of Customer Service. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Follow procedures outlined in the customer service manual when:
- Reviewing and entering customer work orders
- Sharing information with staff internally regarding customer orders
- Working to ensure that the delivery requirements are met
- Trouble shooting and problem solving
Accurately document customer requirements on work orders and to production staff
Use knowledge of products and services to support Account Coordinators in meeting customer needs
Communicate with other members of the team internally to help achieve the goals and work within our system capabilities
Identify and escalate issues through the proper channels as needed
Ensure that products are produced consistently meeting or exceeding established internal criteria, as well as contractual obligations/requirements. This includes following established procedures, quality control checks, and the desire to satisfy customer expectations
Ability to effectively react to change and undertake other tasks as assigned
An undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in customer service
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to professionally communicate internally and externally
