BigBattery is a rapidly growing lithium battery manufacturer with a headquarters in Commerce, Texas. As one of the "Fastest Growing Battery Manufacturers" in the United States, we are expanding quickly and looking for enthusiastic Tech Support / Customer Service Representatives to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills in a high-growth environment and contribute to supporting America with green energy solutions.
We are looking for representatives to handle customer service chats and inbound calls. This isn't your typical customer service job, there’s no cold calling, no uncomfortable sales pitches, and no dealing with customers upset about someone else’s mistake. You’ll be helping customers who are already looking to buy or need assistance with their lithium batteries. If you're confident, able to multitask, and love helping customers, we want to hear from you!
- Provide prompt and professional technical support via phone, email, or chat, assisting users with hardware, software, and network issues
- Handle inbound calls and chat messages from customers inquiring about our lithium batteries.
- Offer information on purchasing lithium batteries and troubleshoot existing battery issues.
- Accurately enter customer information and call details into our system for future reference.
- Fill out helpdesk forms for warranty replacements when needed, after determining the issue source.
- Address billing or service-related complaints, and escalate issues to the appropriate departments.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent BigBattery with professionalism and a helpful attitude.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain technical solutions in an understandable manner while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to handle multiple customer service chats and inbound calls at once, often managing several tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to write clear, detailed notes on customer interactions for future reference.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to speak effectively with customers, coworkers, and management in a high call volume environment.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure elements including switches, routers, operating systems management tools and security protocols
- Some technical background such as tech support, assembly, electronics, troubleshooting, installation, or similar experience is a plus.
- Previous customer support or customer-facing experience is beneficial.
- Must live near Commerce, Texas, as this is an in-office position.
- No prior knowledge of lithium batteries required, though it's always a plus!
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (In-office)
- Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
