We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support our OEM customers, internal sales, and customer service team. This role supports order entry, customer communication, and coordination within a manufacturing environment.
This position is a desk-based role with structured daily responsibilities requiring regular use of email, phone systems, Microsoft Office, and internal ERP systems.
- Enter customer orders into our ERP system (training provided)
- Communicate with customers and internal teams via Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar)
- Use Microsoft Excel for reporting and update internal information as needed
- Use Microsoft Word and similar tools for basic documentation
- Support the Sales team and Customer Service Lead with order-related activities
- Respond to routine customer inquiries regarding orders, pricing, and lead times
- Maintain accurate customer and order records
- Escalate questions or issues to appropriate team members when needed
- Comfortable working on a computer for most of the workday
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to accurately enter and review data
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to follow established processes and workflows
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but Strongly Valued)
- Previous customer service, administrative, or office support experience
- Experience with order entry, ERP systems, or databases
- Experience using CRM and workflow tools is a plus
- Ability to support customer communications, internal coordination, or light marketing-related activities as needed
