The Role: Build, Don't Just Manage

We need a

Corporate Accounting Manager

ready to lead our corporate accounting function across multiple high-growth business lines. You'll own month-end close, establish world-class processes to public company standards, lead a talented team, and become a trusted advisor to our Assistant Controller and senior finance leadership.

This isn't about maintaining the status quo—it's about building something exceptional.

What You'll Own

🎯 Lead consolidation and close processes across upstream, CCUS, power, and midstream segments

🎯 Oversee corporate accounting: cash, intercompany, debt, derivatives, leases, contingencies, depletion, fixed assets, G&A, prepaids, and joint ventures (including non-controlling interests)

🎯 Build and mentor a team of corporate accountants (2-3 direct reports)

🎯 Analyze financial results, perform variance analysis, and present insights to leadership

🎯 Drive internal controls, SOX compliance readiness, and audit coordination

🎯 Partner cross-functionally with operations accounting, finance, treasury, and external auditors

What You Bring

✅

8+ years

accounting experience with

4+ years in corporate accounting within upstream energy

✅ CPA preferred

✅ Proven people manager

: You've led teams, coached talent, and built accountability

✅

Corporate accounting expert

: Consolidations, intercompany eliminations, multi-entity close (NOT operational/revenue accounting)

✅

US GAAP expertise

with upstream knowledge: joint ventures, depletion, derivatives, contingencies

✅

Reviewer mindset

: Comfortable spending majority of time reviewing work, not preparing it

✅

Public company or Big 4 background

strongly preferred

✅

Systems proficient

: Enertia, SAP, Workiva, Power BI a plus

✅

Thrives in dynamic environments

Base Salary: $107K–$198K

(commensurate with experience)
