Are you ready to be part of a team that powers communities and supports innovation? Trico Electric Cooperative is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Marana, Arizona.
What You Will Do
The Communication Business Development Manager for broadband fiber plays a critical role in driving growth within the Cooperative’s communication division through strategic planning, sales, and relationship building. This position is responsible for building and sustaining strong relationships with Members, developers, builders, schools, and community partners to support revenue growth, market share expansion, account retention, and product sales objectives. This position will identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and target markets, influence innovation, and help shape the broadband future that consumers deserve. This position will also collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create tailored solutions for Members.
This position requires a combination of business development expertise, sales management skills, and technical understanding of fiber broadband solutions. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to drive growth, foster partnerships, and deliver exceptional customer experience in a rapidly evolving telecommunications industry.
What You Bring To Trico
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, plus a minimum of five years of sales experience in broadband or technology. In lieu of a degree, seven years of experience in service sales is required.
- Ability to attend community events such as Chamber of Commerce, School Board and City Council/City Administration meetings After hours/weekend work will be required.
- In-depth knowledge of telecommunications consulting and industry standards is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of business administration, marketing strategies, and sales principles and practices,
