Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team here at Runick Metal Recycling! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and reliably across designated routes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our logistics operations, contributing to the seamless movement of goods while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmission, including tractor-trailers and roll-off trucks

- Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations

- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues

- Secure cargo properly for transport

- Maintain accurate paperwork

Qualifications

- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

- Proven experience in commercial driving

- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and handling various freight types

- Knowledge of load & unload procedures and safety protocols for different truck configurations

- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks

- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for truck driving

Pay: $24.59 - $29.61 per hour
