Delivery Driver (with A endorsement)

Duties:

The Driver for ATH Stainless Steel will be responsible for transporting goods to and from assigned locations while adhering to time schedules in a timely manner. In addition this job is responsible for operating assigned vehicles in a safe, efficient and effective manner while adhering to the rules and regulations of the road.

MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL INSURANCE LETTER OF EXPERIENCE SHOWING AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE

What we expect you to do:

- Operate with a A license as assigned ;

- Transport materials utilizing most efficient routes;

- Ensure safety and security of cargo;

- Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external customers;

- Accurate completion of driver logbook;

- Load and unload cargo using forklift or other appropriate equipment

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Communicate with dispatch to report any delays, accidents, or other incidents

- Accurate completion of Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip);

- Other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

- Must exhibit ATH's Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride.

- Valid A License

- Have a CVOR and Drivers Abstract with minimal demerit points and/or reported incidents;

- Possess a proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal/written) with a positive attitude.

- Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role

- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance

- Ability to operate a forklift and other relevant equipment

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Wage:

- Starting: $25.00

Shift:

- Monday to Friday 7am to 4:30pm

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
