Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual & auto transmission, including dry bulk tankers,

- Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or other equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling of sensitive or heavy freight.

- Drive route schedules across local, regional, or regional routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns.

- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations.

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any issues promptly.

- Follow all safety protocols related to refrigerated freight, tanker loads, flatbed cargo, or other specialized shipments to ensure secure transportation.

Skills

- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license.

- Experience operating dry bulk tankers, dump trucks, is highly desirable.

- Excellent route driving skills with the ability to plan efficient delivery routes for timely arrivals.

- Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.

- Good communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, clients, and team members professionally.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
