Collections Summer Intern

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Collections Supervisor, the Collections Summer Intern will assist the Collections team with daily collections and account clean-up projects. This role is ideal for a student comfortable contacting customers, following up on overdue payments, and helping maintain accurate account records.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct outbound collection calls on overdue US customer accounts

- Secure payment commitments and document all customer interactions accurately

- Support simple collections and account clean-up activities

- Assist with integration-related projects and data clean-up

- Review aging reports and update tracking spreadsheets in Excel

- Provide general administrative support to the Collections team

Education:

- Currently enrolled in Canadian Finance, Accounting, or a related Business/Commerce post-secondary program. Preference for students in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year.

Requirements:

- Available for a 4-month term beginning May 2026

- Strong phone etiquette and clear communication skills

- Demonstrated maturity and professionalism

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a high-volume environment
