College Intern (Summer 2026)

Calling Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Students: Apply now for our 2026 Summer Internship Program!

As an Intern, you will participate as a valuable member of the engineering team by working directly with engineering professionals to design, develop and implement solutions. You should be a current engineering undergraduate student interested in working for an organization built on respect for all and who is excited to learn about the utilities industry!

Location and Degree Needs

- Electrical Projects and Programs: San Antonio, TX, Houston, TX, Denver, CO, and Boston MA

- Gas Programs: Delaware, Greenville, SC

What You’ll Do:

- Perform a variety of basic engineering tasks to assist in the production of plans, specifications, reports, diagrams, and engineering documents with supervision by other engineers and supervisors.

- Partake in the Corporate Summer Internship Program and partner with assigned team.

- Program Duration: 10 weeks, starting May 26, 2026.

Minimum Requirements:

- Must be enrolled in an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited engineering program and be studying a related design field

Preferred Qualifications:

- Electrical, civil, mechanical, industrial, material science, industrial, or chemical engineering major

- Located near an ENTRUST office and willing to work a hybrid schedule

- Junior or Senior status for the 2026-2027 school year
