CNC Machinist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in operating CNC machinery. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the production process by ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing components.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and engineering drawings.

- Utilize tools such as bore gauges, calipers, and hand tools to ensure accurate measurements.

- Interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.

- Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions.

- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in using CNC machinery and understanding of machining processes.

- Strong basic math skills for precise calculations and measurements.

- Ability to operate forklifts safely.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
