- Commercial and industrial collections
- Maintain accurate recurring receivables schedule
- Responds to inquires from customers or clients and research/resolve concerns or discrepancies
- Reconciles accounts and payments
- Troubleshoot system problems when required
- Provide branch customer service by answering questions and resolving customer issues
- Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Associates Degree in Accounting is preferred
- Great Plains and Basis experience a plus
- Previous coursework in accounting preferred.
- Operate standard office equipment (i.e., personal computer, facsimile, copy machine, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office-Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
