Application Developer

Role summary

Drive the rollout of low-code/no-code applications, automate business workflows, and design scalable, secure solutions across the organization.You’ll pair strong technical chops with crisp communication, contributing as a hands-on builder and trusted partner on a fast-moving, multidisciplinary team.

What you’ll do:

Create custom tools and lightweight apps that give teams intuitive access to data, streamline task execution, and improve process visibility

Design and ship responsive, user-friendly Power Apps for both field and back-office scenarios (e.g., inspection forms, field ticketing, asset tracking/management).

Orchestrate end-to-end automations with Power Automate, integrating with SharePoint, email, and internal business systems.

Recommend development patterns, tool choices, and integration best practices; contribute reusable components and standards.

Build robust, secure API integrations connecting enterprise platforms, cloud services, and user-facing applications.

Partner closely with business analysts, data engineers, and application developers to deliver cohesive, production-ready solutions.

Own the full delivery lifecycle: technical design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, monitoring, and support.

Mentor junior teammates and help establish a scalable approach to solution development.

Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a dynamic environment; communicate clearly and document thoroughly

Required qualification:

BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years in IT spanning systems integration, software development, and/or solutions engineering.

3+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry.

Proven expertise with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).

Preferred qualifications:

Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs in enterprise environments.

Familiarity with Databricks, Azure SQL, Python, and DAX (or equivalent technologies).

Experience working with structured and unstructured industrial data sources (e.g., sensors, PLCs, SCADA).
