Accounts Receivable Specialist

Buckeye Metal Sales has an immediate need for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Buckeye Metal Sales is a manufacturer of standard and specialty metal roofing and wall products for contractors and homeowners of south-central Ohio. We are a growing, family-owned business looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Generate monthly statements to customers by US mail and emails.

- Generate and provide customer reports as needed or requested.

- Process all payments via check, credit card, or ACH.

- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies professionally

- Generate and review monthly aging reports.

- Contact clients regarding past-due invoices and follow up to ensure timely payments.

- Maintain positive customer relationships while handling collections

- Support general office operations as needed including making deposits, processing check runs and light administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, handling mail, and ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors

Required:

- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or a related finance role.

- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.

- Experience using accounting systems such as Quickbooks

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
