Job Summary:
Melnik is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you will drive sales of our manufacturing products and solutions by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing solution recommendations. You’ll focus on building strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service, and supporting the sales process from initial inquiry to final delivery.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding client service are essential for success in this role. You must be self-motivated and organized, thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
•Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, integrators, and key stakeholders through phone, email, virtual and in person meetings as well as trade shows and other industry events.
•Assess client needs providing personalized product recommendations.
•Respond promptly to client inquiries, offering detailed product information and pricing.
•Maintain communication with clients regarding specific opportunities and monitor the overall deal probability.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
•Identify and qualify new business opportunities within our target markets.
•Collaborate with marketing, design, fabrication and sales teams to implement strategies that drive revenue growth.
•Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and cost estimates.
Technical Expertise:
•Develop a thorough understanding of Melnik’s products and manufacturing capabilities.
•Address standard product inquiries from clients, providing detailed explanations and working with internal teams to resolve challenges.
Administrative and Reporting Tasks:
•Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and project milestones in Hubspot CRM software.
•Communicate with internal departments and track projects and opportunities in task management software.
•Access part information and develop quotes using ERP software.
•Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on performance metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
•Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related role, preferably within the manufacturing or fabrication industry.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Technical aptitude and the ability to learn product details quickly.
•Proficiency with CRM tools and sales software.
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
