Overview

Our retail subsidiary, Access Gas Services Inc. has an opportunity for an in-office, full-time Account Manager. This position is located in our Access Gas Services Office in Mississauga, ON Reporting to our Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Eastern Canada. This full-time position will support our Commercial and Industrial sales team and assist with the growth and retention of our client base, eventually managing a portfolio of clients as primary contact. This position is eligible for full health benefits, a retirement plan with company contributions and an annual discretionary bonus. This position will require being in the office for training and eventually require working in the office full-time with the rest of the Team. Duties & Responsibilities

- Manage a book of energy clients with a focus on their natural gas portfolios providing an unparalleled customer experience with the objective of 100% client retention and ongoing extension

- Provide procurement strategies and solutions and ongoing market pricing and fundamentals updates

- Work with the Operations Team to ensure both the physical and financial parameters of each client’s portfolio are within tolerance

- Prospect for new clients using a variety of lead generating approaches including managing a team of brokers

- Support, assist and back up (when necessary) Vice President, Sales & Marketing with management of Key Account portfolio including consortium clients

- Respond to inquiries from consortium client members

- Continually support organizations customer relationship management mandate by:

o Preparing and distributing weekly Report on Energy

o Updating and maintaining various pricing data files

o Updating PowerPoint slide decks with various market and pricing information

o Providing back up for fellow Account Managers while they are out of the office

Qualifications and Skills

- Completed postsecondary education in a business discipline

- 2-5 years of experience in an office environment with a customer focus

- Strong interpersonal skills with professional writing abilities and phone etiquette

- Strong command of the English language with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Strong presentation skills (Teams/Zoom and in-person)

- Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word is required

- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial business environment

- Detail oriented and able to organize and prioritize work

- A positive, team-oriented attitude
