Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine weld specifications and fabrication requirements

- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and press brake machines to prepare materials for welding and fabrication processes

- Operate plasma cutters, pipe threading equipment, and plasma cutting tools to shape metals according to project needs

- Conduct quality inspections of welds using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards

- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and mechanical procedures

Requirements

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately

- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and fabrication machinery such as press brakes or machining tools

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication work

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
