This role offers the opportunity to step into a trusted leadership position within a nationally respected water consultancy delivering large-scale municipal, state, and utility projects across the Washington–Baltimore metropolitan region.
- Lead multimillion-dollar water and wastewater capital programs across DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia
- Own full project lifecycle delivery—scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client relationships
- Work directly with utilities, authorities, and public-sector stakeholders
- Operate in a flexible hybrid environment that respects senior-level autonomy
- Mentor engineers and PMs while shaping delivery standards
- Advance toward Senior PM, Program Manager, or regional leadership roles
- Managing complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, pump stations, conveyance systems, and regulatory upgrades
- Leading multidisciplinary teams across civil, process, mechanical, electrical, and construction support
- Overseeing project financials, schedules, change management, and quality control
- Developing scopes of work, proposals, and client deliverables for public-sector clients
- Serving as the primary point of contact for municipal and utility stakeholders
- Supporting long-range planning, capital improvement programs (CIPs), and infrastructure resilience initiatives
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (MD, DC, or VA — or obtainable)
- 7–20 years of experience in water/wastewater or water resources engineering
- Proven track record managing municipal or utility infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of treatment processes, conveyance systems, and regulatory frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Ability to lead teams, manage clients, and deliver technically sound projects
