Lead Warehouse Associate Location: Mahwah, NJ

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Lead Warehouse Associate to oversee daily warehouse operations supporting our solar installation teams. This role is responsible for managing inventory, staging materials for upcoming installation jobs, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail oriented, and comfortable working closely with field teams to ensure all materials are prepared accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

- Receive and organize incoming materials including solar panels, inverters, racking, and electrical components

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

- Track and maintain accurate inventory levels

Job Staging

- Prepare and stage materials for upcoming solar installations

- Coordinate with project managers and installation teams on job requirements

- Ensure installers have the correct materials for each project

Inventory Management

- Conduct routine inventory counts

- Track material usage and report shortages

- Assist with ordering and restocking materials

Logistics

- Assist with loading/unloading materials for crews

- Coordinate deliveries and vendor shipments

- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklift experience preferred)

Qualifications

- 2+ years warehouse or construction material experience

- Experience with inventory management or job staging

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a warehouse environment

- Strong organization and attention to detail

- Forklift experience preferred

- Construction, solar, or electrical supply experience is a plus

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
