Position: Warehouse & Operations - Lead/Assistant Location: Albany, NY Job Type: Full-time or part-time available Compensation: Hourly, paid bi-weekly Pay Range: $20–$30/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We’re seeking a dependable, organized Warehouse & Operations Assistant (or Lead) to support daily operations, logistics, and material coordination.

This person plays a key role behind the scenes—keeping our warehouse organized, ensuring the right materials reach each job site on time, and helping our installation teams stay efficient and ready to go.

Essential Functions

- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming stock, materials, and equipment.

- Maintain warehouse inventory and ensure safe, clean working conditions.

- Load/unload trucks, prepare job kits, and stage materials for field teams.

- Deliver materials and tools to local job sites as needed.

- Support project managers with scheduling, labeling, and general logistics.

- Track deliveries and communicate clearly with field and operations teams.

- Perform general facility upkeep and assist with light maintenance when needed.

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license required.

- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to lift 50+ lbs.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Previous experience in warehouse, construction, or field operations preferred.

- Forklift or material-handling experience a plus (training available).

Preferred Background

- Experience in solar, electrical, or construction environments.

- Retired tradespeople or those with strong organizational backgrounds are encouraged to apply!

Compensation & Benefits

- $20–$30/hour (based on experience and role level: Assistant or Lead).
