Utility Billing Specialist

As a billing analyst at utiliVisor, you’ll learn to analyze energy consumption data and help clients understand their energy usage and utility costs. In your day-to-day role, you’ll work with our Operations Center team, as well as with property managers, building owners, and tenants, to ensure accurate submetering reports and invoices and to resolve discrepancies.

On-the-job training provided. This is an entry-level position with room to grow.

Job Requirements:

- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

- Detail-oriented

- Proficient with Microsoft Office

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree

Experience in some type of data analysis

Responsibilities After Training:

Data analysis and reporting

Analyze energy consumption data collected through submetering systems to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepare detailed billing packages summarizing energy usage, anomalies and exceptions, and costs.

Billing verification

Verify utility bills and submetering data to ensure accurate billing and compliance with contractual terms. Work to resolve billing discrepancies and errors.

Client support

Develop positive relationships with clients and respond promptly to client questions; work with other Operations Center staff regularly to verify billing packages. Maintain awareness of current utility rates and tenant lease terms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
