The Position: We are looking for a Truck Scale Clerk to weigh and process billing for outbound rod and billet shipments.

Responsibilities:

- Weigh and process billing for outbound rod and billet shipments (truck, rail, barge).

- Distribute some finished goods bills to drivers of drop trailers.

- Perform scale tests bi-weekly.

- Perform axle weights for outbound trucks.

- Weigh and process paperwork for inbound zinc.

- Weigh and process paperwork for inbound electrodes.

- Process billing for Mill Scale shipments.

- Weigh and process paperwork for outbound crystals.

- Direct trucks to loading and unloading areas.

- Assign out bounds on rods for rail and barge shipping.

- Faxes bills as required to customers and freight carriers.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Must be capable of using personal computers and Microsoft software.

- Must possess basic typing skills.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

- Must be organized and capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.

PAY RANGE: $43,943 - $54,928 (SG 15)

DISCRETIONARY TARGET BONUS: 7%
