Torque and Test Technician
The Torque and Test Technician is responsible for the make-up, assembly, and pressure testing of BOP equipment.
Work Location: Midland, TX shop and remote worksites in the surrounding area. All new hire training will be based in Zelienople, PA. Reliable transportation is required.

Job Status: Full-time
Reports to: BOP Manager
Work Schedule: Local or Rotational – may include day, evening, night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Travel up to 75% required.
Skills & Abilities Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: 2-3 years of verifiable work experience with mechanical or technical roles; prior BOP experience preferred. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work in both shop and field environments.
Other Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old, maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to meet insurance requirements, and successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical. Valid photo ID required.
Duties
Assemble and pressure test BOP equipment
Safely operate and transport company vehicles and equipment to and from work sites
Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and vehicles
Report any vehicle, trailer, or safety concerns to management
Use navigation equipment as needed to reach job sites
Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe boots, flame-resistant clothing, and gloves
Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and SOPs
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Perform other duties as assigned
