As a Computer Analyzed Torque Monitoring Technician (CATM) for ProTorque Energy, you are to reliably and accurately monitor and control tubular connection make-up using the WinCatt, MTT or WeCatt torque turn management system.

· Abide by all site-specific safety practices, rules and orientations.
· Be ready to always produce all valid and mandatory safety certificates upon request.
· Practice good housekeeping in all work/shop locations.
· Properly maintain and keep clean, all equipment, property and vehicles.
· Obey all traffic laws and always drive responsibly.
· Demonstrate punctuality by arriving on time and fit for duty.
· Ensure all equipment is in good working order and that consumables are fully stocked.
· Know how your equipment works and how to maintain it properly.
· Strong knowledge of all connection running procedures, torque tables and API standards.
· Know how to use the WinCatt torque turns management system and be able to correctly complete a job from start to finish.
· Work together with tong hands and other service companies to provide the best service possible.
· Communicate with consultants to gather information in making the job run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
· Provide our expert knowledge of tubular running services to all ProTorque customers.
· Valid Alberta Drivers license with a ProTorque approved driver abstract.
· Must possess and maintain valid H2S, First Aid, CSO, WHMIS, and TDG safety certificates.
· Previous work experience in the oil and gas industry would be an asset.
· Basic computer skills would be an asset.
· Exceptional communication both written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to handle monotonous work for long periods of time.
· Superior work ethic and an ability to perform in a leadership role.
