Tig and Mig Welder for Aluminum, SS, Carbon

MBC Fabrications is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel, as well as MIG welding carbon steel, to produce high-quality welds for various projects. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel components with precision and consistency.

- MIG welding on carbon steel materials to meet project specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

- Ability to prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting as needed prior to welding.

- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards.

- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel with 4 years of job history.

- Proficiency in MIG welding carbon steel.

- Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Welding certification (e.g., AWS or equivalent) is preferred but not required.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a welding environment.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications

We are weld / fitting testing M-F 7am - 9am every day till the position is filled.
