Supervisor

Supervisor to oversee daily operations, personnel, and material flow to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time execution. The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and knowledge of NOV Tuboscope quality, HSE standards, and operational systems.Scope :

This document is written to outline the responsibilities, qualifications, and responsibilities of persons classified as Plant, Yard or Trucking Supervisor. It is understood Supervisors may perform duties of other job descriptions as needed or directed by the manager.

Responsibilities :

- Assists facility operations manager in planning and directing production activities and establishing production priorities.

- Oversees daily operation of the plant, yard and / or trucking activities.

- Assists in training of plant personnel.

- Monitors daily progress of each work order, yard or trucking activity to ensure timely and accurate completion of the job.

- Supervises employee performance by performing frequent on-site inspections to ensure company safety directives and SOP procedures are being adhered to.

- Ensures all inspection equipment is calibrated to meet company SOP and API specifications.

- Troubleshoots problems occurring in the plant, yard or trucking department.

- Coordinates with the manager, inventory control personnel, and forklift operators to ensure the correct materials are moved, loaded and / or unloaded.

Maintain a high level of safety awareness.

Competencies – Reference the Training Checklist Competency Verification form TC-62-02.

- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.

- Knowledge of the NOV Tuboscope Quality System, including the Quality Manual, QSP’s, SOP’s, LOP’s and related documents.

- Knowledge of NOV-Tuboscope HSE Requirements for Employees and the Facility.

- Knowledge of NOV Tuboscope inspection services related to facility capabilities.

- Knowledge of company industry standards, and customer specifications.

- Excellent communication skills with customers and company employees.
