Sr Supply Chain Systems Specialist

Primary Duties

- Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and continued support of supply chain management systems and applications. Collaborate with key stakeholders to set priorities and conduct short and long-term systems planning.

- Analyze current supply chain processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement system-driven solutions to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve service levels

- Oversee integration of supply chain systems with other enterprise platforms to ensure data consistency and operational alignment

- Lead cross-functional projects to implement new systems, upgrades, or enhancements, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and scope. Ensures system quality and program standards meet objectives and desired results are achieved. Performs post-implementation evaluations in support of continuous process improvement.

- Provide advanced user support for supply chain systems, resolve complex user issues related to system functionality, performance, and user experience

- Partner with supply chain, IT, finance and operations to align system capabilities with business needs and drive user adoption

- Identifies end-user training needs, develops training materials and conducts sessions to ensure effective use of supply chain systems; maintain comprehensive system documentation.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain systems management.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Must be able to develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal clients as wells as supplier representatives. Requires the ability to prepare and give effective professional presentations at all levels of the organization. Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

NUMERIC SKILLS:

Requires the ability to understand analysis involving ratios, percentages, economic order quantities and statistical methods.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Requires advanced knowledge and computer skills related to the Oracle ERP inventory and purchasing models. Requires advanced computer skills for economic analysis (e.g. MS Excel), correspondence (e.g. MS Word), presentations (e.g. MS PowerPoint), and/or data retrieval tasks.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires occasionally performing activities including, but not limited to, bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning and/or lifting.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Works in an office environment with some domestic travel (10 to 20%)
