This individual will be responsible for managing the daily inter-site logistics schedule, ensuring equipment is planned and shipped in a timely manner according to a set schedule. They are also responsible for processing transfers/ shipments in IFS and creating spreadsheets with accurate data of all shipments to customers and storage facilities. The focus of this position is to ensure that everything that ships out of the facility has a shop order that is closed, and all paperwork is accurate and updated daily. The expectation of the candidate is to possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and reorganize workloads to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment. The shipping supervisor will give feedback to routings and timing of SO to ensure that adequate material and equipment movement time is built into the overall manufacturing plan.
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills):
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics.
- 2+ years supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.- Valid Driver's License.
- Must have demonstrated proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent proficiency in building, tracking, and analyzing MS Excel spreadsheets.
- Solid knowledge of inventory control, logistics procedures, and reporting; ERP system experience is a plus.
- Capable of working with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Possess keen attention to detail and demonstrate follow through.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Respectful and tactful communication skills to support pleasant interactions with a multi-layered workforce.

- Directly manage and accept responsibility for Team Leads and all Team Members in their assigned work centers.
- Review upcoming shop orders for accuracy of scheduled work centers and estimated labor hours (routings). Flags errors to planning for correction prior to the commencement of assembly.

- Works together with other Supervisors and Production Managers to ensure production capacity is efficiently scheduled and utilized to meet planned shipment dates without compromising quality.
- Creates and/or distributes corrective actions (disciplinary, training, processes/procedures) within their team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Transfer finished goods to a picking location.
- Work closely with the production manager and PPMs to set a weekly shipping schedule.
- Keep an accurate count of all stored finished goods.
- Must be onsite to work.
- Other tasks as deemed necessary by Supervisor.
- Must be able to lift to ~50 pounds.

- Exposure to weather, noise intensity level, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humidity, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts.
