Job Summary: Assist customers in shipping and receiving departments.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Provide service to customers in shipping and receiving departments.

- Package and unpack parts, as required.

- Prepare various shipments, i.e. UPS, Fed-Ex, common carriers, etc.

- Arrange for pickups and deliveries, as required using phone, fax, and the internet.

- Forklift duties include: maintaining a forklift certification, moving parts, and assisting Shipping with loading and unloading customer trucks or vehicles.

- Maintains a clean work area.

- Assists Supervisor in training functions as directed.

- Ensures security and proper use of company equipment, tooling, and supplies.

- Adheres to all safety standards and procedures, and maintains an ongoing awareness of safety for self and others in assigned work areas.

- Participates in company sponsored training as required.

- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Additional Responsibilities: Provide part identification on shop travelers as described in company instructions.

Qualifications:

- Mid-level Computer skills needed.

- Customer service experience preferred.

Working Conditions: Office and factory environment, may encounter dirt, dust, oil, processing chemicals and varying temperatures. Summer temperatures could be extremely hot, over 100 degrees. Winter temperatures are cool.

Physical Requirements:

- Lifting up to 50 pounds.

- A considerable amount of walking, standing, bending, and reaching.

- Safety Shoes Required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, with a required 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
