Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Well established metal manufacturing organization is searching for a hard-working individual to join the Shipping and Receiving team.

The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Prepare and package outgoing shipping orders, including preparing labels, picking ordered items, determining appropriate case sizes, and packing items safely and efficiently.

- Inspect parts before shipping them to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Reconcile waybill, bill of lading with bill of materials in actual shipment arrivals.

- Record orders and maintain inventory database.

- Work closely with other departments within the company.

- Assist with loading and unloading outgoing/incoming pallets of product.

- Follow departmental policies.

- Work closely with customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Attention to detail.

- Good organizational skills.

- Strong communication skills.

- Teamwork oriented.

- Proficient computer skills.

- Valid Driver’s license.

- Able to drive forklift.

- Able to walk/stand for long periods of time.

- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (hair follicle – minimum of 90-day history).

WAGE

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour.
