- Develop preferred supplier programs for critical categories.

- Conduct supplier performance reviews focused on delivery, quality, and responsiveness.

- Mitigate supply risks and develop contingency sourcing plans for critical materials.

Cost Control & Financial Accountability

- Drive year-over-year cost reduction without compromising safety or reliability.

- Create and manage plant purchasing budgets and forecast material spend.

- Analyze cost drivers related to scrap markets, alloys, and inbound freight.

- Partner with finance and operations to track savings and purchasing performance.

Systems, Process & Compliance

- Ensure accurate PO execution, contract compliance, and ERP discipline.

- Improve purchasing visibility, data accuracy, and reporting across plants.

- Standardize contracts, vendor setups, and approval workflows.

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ethical sourcing standards.

Reporting & Communication

- Create all monthly corporate scrap reporting.
