The Senior Operations Manager – Field Services provides strategic and operational leadership for large-scale field services programs across multiple regions. This role owns end-to-end field execution, financial performance, and scaling strategy while serving as a key partner to executive leadership and clients. The ideal candidate is both an operational leader and relationship manager who can balance field realities with client expectations and internal priorities.
- Own overall field operations strategy, execution, and performance across multiple programs and regions
- Lead and mentor Operations Managers, Field Supervisors, and cross-functional leaders
- Establish staffing models, ramp plans, and workforce utilization strategies aligned with volume targets
- Oversee program budgets, labor costs, margins, and operational risk
- Develop and maintain standardized SOPs, training frameworks, and QA/QC programs
- Serve as a senior point of contact for utility clients related to field delivery and performance
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Proposal, and Program Design teams on new program launches and recompetes
- Drive scalability by improving systems, technology, vendor partnerships, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and contractual requirements across all operations
- Serve as a senior point of contact for utility and partner clients on all matters related to field service delivery
- Collaborate with Program Managers to support client meetings, performance reviews, and strategic planning sessions
- Drive alignment between field execution and contractual commitments, budgets, and incentive structures
- Collaborate with People Ops and Training teams on workforce planning, hiring strategy, and performance management- 5-7+ years of experience in field operations or service delivery leadership - 4+ years managing managers and multi-team operations
- Experience overseeing complex, multi-market programs in energy efficiency, utilities, construction, HVAC, or similar industries
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and margin management
- Advanced experience with Salesforce FSL, BI tools, and operational dashboards
