We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and promoting our aluminum extrusion products and services to a wide range of industries. The successful candidate must be able to deal with specific concerns in a timely and efficient manner ensuring that the Company’s sales and profit objectives are met.
Home base should be in Southwestern, Ontario.
- Develops market strategies in conjunction with his supervisor to attain new business as well as strategies for maintaining current business in an increasingly competitive marketplace, achieving margin returns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and manage all aspects of the sales process.
- Understand and communicate the technical features, benefits, and applications of aluminum extrusion products.
- Assists the engineering group in promoting product development and new product lines.
- Deliver quotes, proposals and presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Assist in negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery terms within company guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Track market trends, competitor activities and strategies, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics.
- Always remain professional, which includes excellent communication.
- Represents the company for special functions relating to job functions, i.e. trade shows.
- Bachelor or Technical degree preferred.
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the aluminum extrusion industry.- Strong understanding of the aluminum extrusion process and related products is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software is preferred.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel is required.
