The Safety & Quality Supervisor is responsible for implementing, managing, and enforcing workplace safety, quality control, and internal audit processes within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures OSHA compliance, proper internal safety reporting, and consistent application of manufacturing and warehouse procedures across all product lines.
One product is certified under a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA), and this role supports compliance for that specific product while also conducting internal audits for all other manufacturing and administrative processes to ensure internal standards are respected.
This is a hands-on position with strong presence on the production floor and in the warehouse, working closely with Operations, Production, and Quality teams.
- Implement, enforce, and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs
- Conduct regular safety inspections and walkthroughs in production and warehouse areas
- Identify hazards, document findings, and follow through on corrective actions
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations
- Prepare and maintain internal safety reports related to inspections, incidents, training, and corrective actions
- Maintain OSHA logs and required safety documentation
- Coordinate and deliver safety training (PPE, equipment, forklift, hazard awareness)
- Act as the point of contact for safety audits and inspections
- Support quality control activities across all product lines
- Conduct internal audits of manufacturing, warehouse, and administrative processes
- Verify that procedures, documentation, and controls are consistently applied
- Identify process gaps and work with teams to implement corrective actions
- Maintain internal audit reports, findings, and follow-up documentation
- Support compliance for the Miami-Dade NOA-approved product
- Ensure inspections, labeling, traceability, and documentation meet NOA requirements
- Support internal and external audits related to NOA compliance
- Assist with corrective and preventive actions related to NOA findings
