Regulatory and Production Associate

PO&G Resources is a rapidly growing, twenty-six-year-old private oil and gas company located in the Galleria/Uptown area of Houston, TX. With the ongoing expansion of our operations across multiple areas in the US, the company is seeking a key individual to fill the position of Regulatory and Production Associate in our Houston office.

The Regulatory and Production Associate will work alongside an experienced team in the Environmental, Health, Safety, Regulatory and Production Department, providing support to PO&G’s efforts to maintain compliance, daily data entry and operations.

The successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities including:

- Assist with processing various compliance documents to state and federal agencies

- Assist with gathering data from Engineers, Field Foreman, or other departments for submissions to agencies, contractors, or other company staff

- Assist with daily entry of data into production database

- Develop an understanding of compliance test procedures and interpret their results.

- Assist with implementing, maintaining and updating a standard digital file structure for the department

- Work closely with the Environmental and Regulatory team to identify project priorities

- Assist with cross-departmental projects as needed

- Assist with clerical functions as needed by the department

- Maintain Meeting set-up and materials

Qualifications:

- Associates degree preferred

- Oil and gas experience preferred

- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.

- Self-starter who can proactively manage the job functions and proactively communicate with management

- Practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving; hands on worker

- Well organized

- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

- Ability to work 5 days a week in the office

- Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
